Company Description (EN): Vinifera is an artisan winery based in Distomo, Greece, specializing in indigenous Greek grape varieties produced through organic viticulture. We planted our first vineyard in 2014 and our first vintage is from 2017

Our organic wines are produced using grapes solely from our vineyards based on the foothills of Mt Parnassus which acts as a barrier to the clouds of the Corinthian gulf. This substantially increases the diurnal range of the region which is important for our grapes to retain their unique aromas and acidity.

Organic viticulture has played the central role in our philosophy of wine-making since we are strong advocates of the principle that the quality and the attributes of a wine are inherited from the vineyard.
