Το κρασί πάντοτε αποτελούσε αναπόσπαστο κομμάτι της ζωής και της διατροφής των Ελλήνων και γενικότερα των λαών της Μεσογείου. Οι οινολόγοι που εργάζονται στο οινοποιείο και στα κτήματα κινούνται πάνω σε αυτή την αρχή.
Η οινολόγος Χριστίνα-Μαρία Ι. Λευτάκη, υπεύθυνη εργαστηρίου, μαζί με τον Τιμόθεο Γ. Χριστόφορο, οινολόγο και αμπελοκαλλιεργητή, έρχονται να συνεργαστούν με το μικρόκλιμα της περιοχής, το έδαφος και τα κλίματα για να πάρουν οίνους ξεχωριστούς και ιδιαίτερους.
Χρησιμοποιώντας σύγχρονα μέσα , εργαζόμαστε με βάση τις ιδαιτερότητες και τη διαφορετικότητα των τοπικών ποικιλιών , προσπαθώντας να αναδείξουμε αυτά ακριβώς τα χαρακτηριστικά. Παράγουμε οίνους που ταιριάζουν με τη Ζάκυνθο ,τη γαστρονομία της , το στιλ της. Προσπαθούμε να μην εξομοιώσουμε τους οίνους μας με άλλους .Τους κάνουμε διαφορετικούς . - Αγρία Μαχαράδου

From ancient ages, wine is an essential part of the lifestyle and the nutrition of the Greeks, and in general of all the people of Mediterranean countries. Our wine-scientists and employees in our wine-making process, every day work hard maintaining this principle.
The oenologist -head of wine production, Mrs Christina-Maria J. Leftaki, along with the owner, main wine-producer-oenologist, Mr Timotheos G.Christoforos, are cooperating in the most effective way with the local regional micro-climate, with the local soil composition as well as the local varieties of vines, in order to produce unique, fine taste, high quality of local variety of wines.
In our production process, using modern equipment, we are working with the unique particularities of the large diversity and varieties of local vines, in order to enhance and highlight exactly these features into our local wines.
We are producing a variety of wines that perfectly matches with the island of Zakynthos, the local gastronomy, the local cuisine and the local lifestyle.
We are not trying to produce similar wines as with other producers. We are making a variety of our unique and different wines. - Agria Machairado
