The “Wine-tasting Square” is yet another innovation of Oenorama, which was very successfully launched in 2006. This is “a fair within a fair” where we present 300 of the choicest wines of Oenorama, as these were selected by the participants of the fair. The wines are grouped according to colour, variety, region and vintage so that the visitor may, without much loss of time, form a clear idea of the produce of Greek vineyards. Each bottle will be accompanied by information in Greek and English, while the wine-tasting will be effected using Riedel crystal glasses. Entrance to the “Wine-tasting square” is restricted exclusively to wine professionals. This year a special “Greek Wine Varietal” self-adhesive sticker will show which bottles contain more than 50% wine from native Greek varieties; there will also be a wine-list with all the wines at the Wine-tasting Square.     |
