Sponsors Oenorama 2010 is organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Prefecture of Eastern Attica. The Hellenic Foreign Trade Board (HEPO) and its “Kerasma”, program are major sponsors and support the exhibition by inviting international buyers and journalists. The National Interprofessional Organization of Vine and Wine (ΕDΟΑΟ) is the most significant umbrella organization of the Greek wine industry covering viticulture, wine-making and the wine trade. It supports Oenorama 2010, along with the two major growers’ associations: the Greek Wine Federation (SEO), a trade body whose members are privately owned wineries and the Central Union of Vine and Wine Cooperative Organizations of Greece (KEOSOE), the national federation of wine-making cooperatives. Oenorama 2010 enjoys the support of numerous other professional organizations from the Greek wine industry, such as the Greek Distillates and Spirits Association (SEAOP), the Wine Producers of the Vineyards of Northern Greece Union (ENOAVE), the Peloponnese Vineyard Wine Producers Union (ENOAP), the Nemea Vine Growers and Wine Producers Union (ENOAN), the Wine Producers of the Vineyard of Central Greece Union (ENOAKE), the Attica Vineyard Wine Producers Union (ENOAA) and the Wine Producers of the Vinegrowing Aegean Islands (ENOANA). Many trade associations are also active participants, such as: the Panhellenic Union of Greek Sommeliers (PENO), the Greek Union of Oenologists (EEO), the Panhellenic Union of Degree-Holding Oenologists (PANEPO), the Greek Women of Wine, the Circle of Greek Wine Writers (ELDOIN), the Bartenders Union of Greece, the Panhellenic Federation of Restaurant and Related Professions (POESE), and the “Nifalioi” (Sober) (Citizens’ Movement for the Alcoholic and his Environment).
