Since 1994, Oenorama has not ceased expanding and improving. The first Oenorama was organized at the Sport Hall of the Olympic Stadium, covering an area of 1500 m2 . It then moved to EKEP in Metamorfosi and as of this year to MEC in Paeania. We will be expecting you with the following innovations:
MORE SPACE The surface area available is 26% bigger in order to cover the needs for 2008 without changing the ratio of 60:40 between stands and other auxiliary areas and passages. Oenotechnia still has its own area, totally free of pillars with a height of 8 metres to the top, where wine is presented in excellent conditions. TWO ENTRANCES FOR THE WHOLE FAIR AREA The new location henceforth has three different entrances, all fully operational. One entrance (for Oenorama) is on Lavriou avenue, the other two (for Oenothecnia) near the Attiki Odos Highway. Visitors with or without badges can use any of the three entrances. BETTER LOCATION The MEC Exhibition Centre is actually on the Attiki Odos Highway (exit # 17), very near the Airport and almost next to the Paeania / Kantza station of the Suburban Railway, from which minibuses will be leaving every 30 minutes (i.e. on arrival at the station of the train from Athens). The exhibition centre is also accessible by bus (it is on many bus lines). For visitors coming by car, there is a parking area for 3500 cars. Oenorama plan ... oenorama plan soon at .pdf format |
