Oenorama has grown steadily since 1994 when it was first organized in the “Sport Hall” of the Olympic Stadium (a training area for basketball teams covering 3.000 m²⁾. It then moved to the EKEP exhibition hall in Metamorfossi and in 2008 moved again to the MEC exhibition hall in the Peania suburb of Athens. Although far from ideal this venue is well located on the Attiki Odos Highway (gate #17), close to the airport and its two hotels (Sofitel and Holiday Inn) and is a mere 30’ from the city centre by metro. Shuttle buses connect the Peania/Kantza metro station to the exhibition (10’). For those who prefer to drive, MEC has 3.500 free parking spaces available.

Oenorama 2010 will have two independent, fully operational entrances, which will function simultaneously.  One entrance (for Oenorama) is on Lavriou Avenue, and the other (for Oenotechnica) near the Attiki Odos Highway.
