How to come to the MEC The Mediterranean Exhibition Centre is at 301, Lavriou Avenue, in Paeania, Attica. (Telephone : 210 604 1410) Click here to see the location on the map. (Map : http://www.forthnet,gr/templaters/driveme.aspx?c=10008226) If you are coming by plane: The easiest way, which we recommend, is to take a taxi as the MEC is only 10 minutes from the airport; otherwise you can take the Suburban railway and get off at the Paeania/Kantza station. An Oenorama bus will be shuttling between the station and the MEC throughout the duration of the fair. If you are coming by bus: You can choose on of the following : E95 (Syntagma – Spata); E96 (Piraeus – Spata); E94 (Ethniki Amyna – Spata); 308 (Ethniki Amyna – Koropi) as well as the KTEL intercity buses from the Pedio tou Areos heading for Porto-Rafti, Lavrion, Mesagaia, Markopoulou Attikis and Kalyvia. If you are coming by train: The MEC is connected with the centre of Athens via the metro and, more so, with the suburban railway. The station is Paeania/Kantza. An Oenorama bus will be shuttling between the station and the MEC throughout the duration of the fair. If your are coming by car: There are two ways: either via the Attiki Odos Highway (exit 17) or via Lavriou Avenue (Leoforos Lavriou). In both cases, when reaching the grounds of the fair, follow the directions of the security personnel of the fair who will direct you to the most convenient (free) parking area. If you are coming by taxi: At the fair entrance there is a taxi counter for your convenience. |
